Greetings!

A little bit about us.

Hello, and thanks for stopping by, My name is David Gookin and one of my Ancestors;Sir Vincent Gookin, was the older brother of Daniel Gookin, who owned and resided at Carrigaline Castle in the early 1600s. I had the privilege of visiting the castle remains in 2015, thanks to Dr.Hiram Morgan of UCC and Councillor John Collins.

Carrigaline Castle is not only an important part of Ireland's history, but plays a role in the early days of Colonial America as well. For more information please click the dropdown menu in the upper left corner.
